Download and install the kota app
We offer three paths to access kota on mobile:
Installation steps
- Download: For Android, download the kota APK file from our website; for iOS, open Safari and navigate to kota.bet, then tap Share and select "Add to Home Screen".
- Install: On Android, open your file manager, locate the APK, and tap to install (you may need to enable "Unknown Sources" in Settings); on iOS, the web app will appear as an icon on your home screen.
- Register or log in: Open the kota app, create a new account or sign in with your existing credentials, and complete KYC verification (email and ID upload).

App vs. browser: which is right for you
The kota Android app offers offline caching for slot games, meaning you can load Aviator, Sweet Bonanza, or Gates of Olympus even if your connection drops momentarily. Push notifications alert you to tournament schedules, withdrawal confirmations, and promotional updates. The app also stores your login session, so you do not need to re-enter credentials every time. Load times are typically faster than the browser because the app runs natively on your device. However, the browser version (iOS or desktop) is equally secure and offers the full feature set; the main trade-off is that you must re-authenticate after closing the browser or clearing cache.

Device compatibility and system requirements
The kota app runs on Android 7.0 and later, covering the vast majority of devices in circulation. For iOS, we support iOS 12 and later via Safari or Chrome. Minimum RAM is 2 GB; we recommend 4 GB or more for smooth gameplay, especially during live-dealer sessions. Internet connection should be at least 2 Mbps for video streams (live blackjack, roulette, baccarat, Dragon Tiger) and 1 Mbps for slots and sportsbook. If your device is older or has limited storage, the browser version may perform better because it does not require installation.
Troubleshooting common installation issues
If you see a warning about "Unknown Sources" on Android, go to Settings → Security and enable installation from unknown sources, then retry the APK. If the APK does not download, check that your browser allows downloads and that you have at least 100 MB of free storage. On iOS, if "Add to Home Screen" does not appear, ensure you are using Safari (not Chrome) and that you are on the latest iOS version. If the app crashes after login, clear your browser cache (iOS) or app cache (Android Settings → Apps → kota → Storage → Clear Cache) and try again. If you still cannot access kota, contact our support team via the contact form on our website; we respond during business hours within one business day.
Data, permissions, and account security on kota
The kota app requests minimal permissions: internet access (required for all features), storage (to cache game assets and offline data), and camera (only if you choose to upload an ID photo during KYC). We do not access your contacts, location, or call history. All data transmitted between your device and our kota servers is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or later. Your password is hashed server-side and never stored in plain text. Payment credentials are never stored on your device; all transactions are processed through secure payment gateways. If you enable two-factor authentication (which we recommend), your account requires both your password and a one-time code sent to your email before login. If your device is lost or stolen, log in from another device and change your password immediately; this will invalidate all other sessions.
